Child Care Solutions Funds

  • Iowa Women's Foundation (IWF) offers the Child Care Solutions Fund. For Eligibility Criteria and specific information to include in your LOI, visit the IWF website for details. All Letters of Interest (LOI's) must show an increase in child care slots to be considered. LOI's should be submitted on letterhead, and will be accepted starting June 14, 2021. LOI's are to be emailed to: grants@iawf.org by Friday, July 30, 2021, 5:00 pm. The subject line should note: Child Care Solutions Fund LOI. LOI's will be reviewed, and each applicant will be notified by September 1 of their status. Those moving to the next round of review will be asked to complete a more detailed application at that time.

Investing in Iowa Child Care

  • Investing in Iowa Child Care (IICC) is a funding program intended to increase availability of child care throughout the State. The program is administered by Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) with funds from the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021. Funding is available for programs that are licensed or registered by the Department of Human Services (DHS) or are seeking to be licensed or registered by DHS. As of 7/6/21, this program is no longer accepting new applications. Resources include: Expense List - allowable & non-allowable expenditures, Budget Form, Fiscal Memo, W-9 Form

WAGE$® Iowa

  • WAGE$® offers salary supplements (also called stipends) to the early care and education workforce, based on the individual's level of formal education and commitment to their program. Thanks to funds from the Iowa Department of Human Services, Child Care WAGE$® IOWA will be available in all 99 Iowa counties effective July 1, 2021 and not guaranteed beyond June 30, 2022.
