Dear Child Care Provider,
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is currently preparing the 2025-2027 Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) State Plan. The CCDF is the primary federal funding source to support low-income families with child care and increase the quality of child care for all children. The State Plan which is submitted every three years is the State’s application for federal CCDF funds and describes the State’s compliance with federal CCDF regulations. We thank everyone that participated in focus groups throughout the month of April to provide input into the State Plan draft. The draft of the State Plan is now available on the HHS website on the Child Care page under the heading of “Child Care and Development Block Grant”.
