Dear Child Care Providers,

The state of Iowa financial system that processes vendor payments will be taken offline on Friday, March 8 at 6:00 p.m. The old system is being replaced with a new, updated system. This process will take 10 days to complete. This means that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will not be able to issue child care provider payments until the new system is ready for use on March 18.

We intend to process and submit as much attendance information as we can by 2:30 p.m. on March 8 so that payments can be issued before the system goes offline at 6:00 p.m.

You may continue to submit your child care attendance to the Department as usual, and our child care staff will continue to process this information, but we will be unable to submit any requests for payment between Friday, March 8 and Monday, March 18.

Once the new system is online on Monday, March 18, payments will be sent to the new system for processing.

Thanks for all you do,

Ryan Page
Director of Child Care
Division of Family Well-Being and Protection
Iowa Department of Health and Human Services
