Dear Child Care Providers,
Iowa child care workers are included in the COVID-19 Vaccination Phase 1B, Tier 1 priority that began in February. Many child care providers across the state will soon be fully vaccinated. Providers who have not yet received the vaccine are encouraged to monitor the Iowa Department of Public Health COVID-19 vaccine web page for updated information and resources here.
Local public health agencies are working with Child Care Nurse Consultants and CCR&R agencies sending out information and surveys to child care providers to assess the number of providers needing vaccination. Providers are encouraged to monitor their local public health/health department website for vaccination information.
