Dear Child Care Providers,
As announced last week, there is a new round of funding available through the Child Care Challenge funding opportunity. Applications are due by December 10, 2021.
Iowa Workforce Development and the Department of Human Services are inviting you to join a webinar: How to Apply for the Child Care Challenge Grant. The webinar is scheduled for November 17, 2021, at 12:00 p.m.
We will review guidance for the grant and answer questions. Businesses, non-profits and consortiums in good standing with the State of Iowa can apply for the Child Care Challenge Grant. Grant funding will support regional and community projects to establish local child care facilities and increase the availability of quality, affordable child care for working Iowans. More information about the grant program is available here. This webinar will be also recorded and posted to the Future Ready Iowa website.
