The Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS) conducted a survey of child care providers from April 10-17, 2020 to learn more about the current status of providers and what assistance providers needed to remain open or to reopen their child care business.
Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) along with DHS, are sharing the survey results with you and want to thank providers for taking time to complete the survey. This survey directly impacted the decisions for distribution of federal funding through DHS Funding Opportunities. Read the complete survey summary here.
CCR&R recognizes the importance of Iowa child care businesses. We are here to support programs with a variety of financial, health and educational resources, which can be found on our website here.
Child Care Consultants are also available to assist you in finding resources as needed. To find contact information for your Child Care Consultant, please visit our website staff pages here.
Again, thank you to the child care programs that completed the survey. DHS will be doing another survey in the future. The information you provide is critical as they assess the needs of Iowa’s child care industry and determine how best to support you as part of the state’s recovery.
