The service of child care programs during COVID-19 is critical. The Department of Human Services (DHS) thanks you for your service to children, families and your community.
While child care programs are working diligently to ensure quality, safe care to children during this critical time, DHS would like to announce we are extending the expiration date for the Quality Rating System (QRS). With the extension of the expiration date, we hope to ensure child care providers more time to focus on the needs of children. QRS expiration dates have been extended until July 31, 2020.
If you have specific questions regarding your QRS rating or need additional guidance for any other child care related matter, please reach out to your DHS licensing consultant and/or your local CCR&R agency for assistance.
You are appreciated,
