ChildNet 3.0 coming January 2021

November 30, 2020

Child Care Programs,

Starting January 2021, Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) will be offering the next generation of ChildNet training. ChildNet 3.0 is a significant change in both curriculum and ChildNet Certification requirements. Today’s home-based child care businesses have new regulations, quality initiatives and educational considerations to put into daily practice. ChildNet 3.0 has a newly developed curriculum to address these modern business considerations to help any home child care provider build the foundation of a quality child care business.

ChildNet 3.0 child care training series is 25 hours of interactive, applicable and supportive professional education provided through live-online or classroom delivery. Intended participants are providers who care for children while owning and operating a child care business in their home. These business owners have unique needs as their environment is shared between family and home space. Through this series, strategies will be shared on how to optimize time, space and resources to ensure best child care practices are being implemented. Additionally, an optional coaching component is offered to support new skills and procedures as providers strive for quality by obtaining ChildNet Certification.

  • Session 1: Laying the Foundation

  • Session 2: All about Business…Basics

  • Session 3: Guiding the Developing Child
