Whether you’re a home provider or work in a center/preschool, it’s extremely important to keep your profile on Iowa's Early Childhood and School Age Professional Workforce Registry (i-PoWeR) up-to-date! We hope by following these few steps, you will be able to get your profile account in sync!
Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) uses i-PoWeR to contact providers to notify you when you’ve been enrolled, approved or denied for training that you have enrolled for. Keeping your profile updated has always been important, but is especially important now as we’ve had to do more virtual training due to COVID-19. We need to make sure that your email address is correct to send out links that may be needed for virtual or online training. We also need your physical address to be correct because many times we’re sending out certificates to you in the mail.
Remember – this is YOUR professional development account, so it is key that you be proactive at keeping these pieces current! If you have any questions or hit some roadblocks while making your updates, please reach out to CCR&R staff. We are available to help with troubleshooting issues you may experience while using i-PoWeR. In addition, CCR&R is here to help you with planning your professional development needs. We want to help you get in sync so your business can succeed!
CCR&R hopes all Child Development Homes will take advantage of this new training curriculum, ChildNet 3.0.
