Iowa State University Extension and Outreach (ISU) is offering Environment Rating Scale (ERS) training online!
Family Child Care Environment Rating Scale Revised (FCCERS-R) and Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale 3 (ECERS-3) will start this fall. The FCCERS-R is for providers caring for children birth to 12 years in a home-setting. The ECERS-3 is for teachers, directors, assistant directors and program staff who work directly with children age 3-5 years in center-based, preschool or Head Start programs.
Be sure to sign up on the DHS Training Registry and click the payment link to complete payment through Iowa State University’s Conference Payment Management system. You must complete BOTH steps to be registered. Only signing up on the registry without paying, does not hold a spot.
Registrants must participate in all four live sessions and complete all out-of-class activities to receive the final ERS certificate. Certificates for credit hours are provided at the end of each live session.
The Department of Human Services releases the new Mandatory Child Abuse Reporter Training on the Iowa DHS Training website on July 1, 2019.
